Weekly News – 9 July 2019
This week’s edition includes lots of great news and updates from across the Trust.
War on Waste
Over the past three weeks we’ve had more than 80 suggestions made via the intranet and our hotline on how to save money. While the savings will vary from hundreds to thousands of pounds, all the suggestions are really valid. In this edition we share some of the ideas which are already helping to save money across the trust.
Car parking update
We understand that the car parking situation is difficult on all the hospital sites, and we are working to resolve this issue. See the update on where we are with our plans for each site.
Raising awareness of facilities
As part of their Listening into Action scheme, the facilities team is trying to increase its visibility and awareness of the important roles our porters, domestics and catering staff play in the organisation.
